The correct way would be
$ r2 -d <pid-number>
the 'dpa' command expects a preselected debugger handler (dh) and other
stuff that it's a bit boring to setup by hand. 'dpa' will work if you
are already running in debugger mode (-d)

I get <invalid> (ff) instead of mnemonics.
