Title: portmaster-radius.9804: (RADIUS) disconnecting users using SNMP - no RADIUS stop record

(RADIUS) disconnecting users using SNMP - no RADIUS stop record

[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thu, 2 Apr 1998 20:30:36 +0000

I made recently a short script disconnecting multiply
logged users using SNMP. I write the value
2 (down) to the SNMP variable ifAdminStatus.<port>.
It disconnects the user from the port, no problems
here. (The HW is PM2E-3- running ComOS 3.7)

The RADIUS accounting sometimes writes a
session stop record to the accounting file with
Termination-Cause = Lost-Service
but in most cases *it does not* and that creates
a problem for my Radius parser.

Yesterday I disconnected 14 sessions and
got 3 stop records (OK) and the rest is 11
"Start without Stop" errors.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Vlado
