Hello Robert -
This is because someone is logging in to the NAS, probably via telnet, and a connection request is being sent to Radiator with Service-Type = Login-User. Perhaps you mean to return the Service-Type = Framed-User as a reply item instead of using it as a check item? In which case the user entry should look like this: username User-Password = "password" Service-Type = Framed-User, Framed-Protocol = PPP, Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.0, Framed-Routing = None, Framed-MTU = 1500, Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP regards Hugh > > Radiator is generating the following error messages in the logfile: > > Check item Service-Type expression 'Framed-User' does not match > 'Login-User' in request > > Here is the config block for the user: > > username User-Password = "password",Service-Type = Framed-User > Framed-Protocol = PPP, > Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.0, > Framed-Routing = None, > Framed-MTU = 1500, > Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP > > This config block is identical to all other users (using flat text > file). > > I'm running Radiator version 2.14.1 and the NAS is a 3Com Total Control > Chasis. > > Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why this might be happening? > > Thank you, > Robert > > ------------------------------------------------------- -- Radiator: the most portable, flexible and configurable RADIUS server anywhere.
