Subject: Re: (RADIATOR) redhat 8.0 compatability?

this is an rh8 issue.

try this:
echo $LANG
and you will see: en_US.UTF-8
 then try this :
export LANG=en_US
an restart radiator
radiator will only work in this terminal!

if it works, do this for permanent change
edit /etc/sysconfig/i18n
change the line
LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
to LANG="en_US"

this will also solve the acrobat reader probs

Subject: (RADIATOR) redhat 8.0 compatability?

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has had any success with Radiator running on Redhat 8.0.

I am testing it on a server before we move it from 7.2 Redhat, and I get the following error when trying a radpwtst:

---
sending Access-Request...
Malformed UTF-8 character (unexpected end of string) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/Radius/Radius.pm line 642.
Malformed UTF-8 character (unexpected end of string) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/Radius/Radius.pm line 960.
Wide character in subroutine entry at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/Radius/Radius.pm line 962.
---

I am currently doing this testing with Radiator version 3.3.1

Thanks for any help/suggestions.
