Hello Ken -
Yes you can use any of the special characters by calling format_special in your hook code:
my $username = Radius::Util::format_special('%u', $p);
There are examples of using this in the file "goodies/hooks.txt".

Hugh

I am using Prefix in a Handler to select a particular user type.
The problem I have is that the Prefix function is stripping the Prefix and
rewriting the User-Name attribute.
I need to use the full unstripped username in a PreAuth/PostAuth Hook. Is it
possible to obtain %u or equivalent in these Hooks ?
All the best and thanks, Ken
