We are pleased to announce the availability of the first release of preconfigured Radiator and RAdmin evaluation virtual machine.
The virtual machine image is available from the usual location: http://www.open.com.au/radiator/ The virtual machine is configured to respond to RADIUS, TACACS+ and Diameter requests. The default configuration supports multiple authentication protocols and EAP methods from plain passwords to PEAP and EAP-TLS. The users are authenticated by default from MySQL database. These user accounts can be managed with RAdmin or directly with MySQL tools. Additional software has been installed to help integrating Radiator with different systems and user databases. Some examples are: LDAP and SQL servers, Active Directory over NTLM, hardware and software token based authentication systems and integration with Micros Opera and Mikrotik. Connections to Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases have been prepared. A simple download from the respective vendors is required to complete the set up. As always, any comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks, Heikki -- Heikki Vatiainen <h...@open.com.au> Radiator: the most portable, flexible and configurable RADIUS server anywhere.
