Thanks for the welcome.
And yes, I too like my http 503 lol.

There is nothing stopping you from getting your license.
2 hours a day for a week, and you'll be there.
Remember of course there is no code requirement.
I would be happy to tutor you in exchange for something that would help me - if
you thought you might learn easier that way.

I am looking to network and meet new people who can help me get a job and whom
I can in someway give back to them. I live in Hells Kitchen. Would you like
to meet for coffee or whiskey sometime?

Paul

Hello

Paul here, KC8SGJ, I'm 27. I just moved to NYC and am trying to find community
with other nerds. I live in Hells Kitchen.
Security from bare metal to layer 7 is my focus. I enjoy hardware hacking and
breaking things in ways they were not meant to be broken so that they do my
bidding. I currently am focusing on breaking UEFI.

On the radio side, I love amateur digital modes. I'd love to get involved with
any Packet Radio scene here in the city. I have 2M/440 and HF rigs but no
practical way to get a stick high enough. I do have 5Mhz tx capability. I also
enjoy fox hunting and used to compete in Ohio.
I have a bit of experience with commercial data RF point to point systems.

I wanted to reach out to the radio group to get a feel for things before I
engage the entire community.
I would appreciate any guidance along the way and I look forward to
contributing to the group!

Thanks so much!
