I just investigated this issue some more and its very very annoying: I did a factory restore and the radio comes alive again. BUT: Whenever the radio is rebooted (soft via firmware update or hard by pulling the power plug), i get the issue described above and the radio is dead!
Any help appreciated otherwise i have to return it because for me it seems like faulty hardware!
