Welcome to the forums and world of Squeezeboxes. 1. It would help if you could give a specific example (or a few examples) of the stations that aren't working. As you say, most of the thousands of stations that are listed do work, so it's important to pinpoint those that don't work so that other users can at least do the basic test of seeing if it works for them.
2. How are you getting to those stations? Much of the categorization is done by third party aggregators/organizers like RadioTime, Live365, etc. Some categorization is under Logitech's control, but most is not. 3.
