There are two "off" states for the Radio: 1. soft off: quick press of ON/OFF button, Radio is in standby, displays clock (if chosen as screensaver for off state), powering back on the screen resumes almost instantly (no logo) and the screen is where you left Radio when you put it in standby
2. hard off: press & hold ON/OFF button, Radio is truly off, screen says "GOODBYE", nothing displays on screen (no clock), powering back on requires a complete boot up of about 30 seconds, displaying the Logitech logo and "Free Your Music", screen will always first display the Home Menu Do you have Alarms set on your Radio? I guess if Alarm is set then Radio ignores a hard off (or automatically reboots itself to standby) as the Radio cannot sound an Alarm when it is truly off. Also, when your Radio powers itself back on, is it streaming something?
