Reboot loops I have seen during the beta were usually caused by a bug with what was playing. If the currently playing song caused a bug that caused a reboot, then the reboot would happen again when it started and tried to play the same bit again...
Just make sure you're using the latest firmware available- I haven't seen a reboot loop in months. If you get into a reboot loop, I usually stop it by using the web-based control panel to pause the music.
