I don't quite understand your problem. Are you saying that if you use the sleep timer to turn off the Radio at night, the alarm doesn't go off in the morning?
I use the sleep timer with Pandora every night. The Radio then goes to standby and a clock displays. Each morning the alarm wakes me up to my local public radio station at a higher volume(which is what I have it set for). Is this not happening for you?
