MySqueezebox.com is essentially a cut down version of the server software, which is hosted by Logitech rather than by users on their home systems.
Most of the devices connecting to it are "slim" in that they need to be told what to do - the newer products like the Radio are a bit smarter and can storage more info in their firmware. Because mysqueezebox.com is a cut down version of the software which has many thousands of users connecting to it at one time, and all of those players need to be told what to do by the mysqueezebox.com servers, it only supports certain features.
