I have had the same problem with Station Art NOT displaying properly. This has happened since updating my software to Version 7.5.0 r.30464. I wish there was a way to roll back the update if you are unhappy with it. Now, I mainly use my Squeezebox Radio for listening to radio stations worldwide. I have noticed that if I turn on the squeezebox server on my computer and play my own music from my hard drive that all the Album Art comes through and displays fine. With the server running, my Station Art will also display okay. (Nice colors and will update as I change stations. But, if I turn off my server, the Radio Station Art will revert back to the dreadful default black and white station logo!
It didnt used to act this way with firmware update 7.4 and seemed a LOT more stable for the radio stations that I was listening to. Now, its not unusual to have the Squeezebox Radio shut down several times during the night, - (just simply turn off) There are too many variables with the servers being used and other things to try to nail it down. Now for the final clue, this morning, I turned on a Fox News station and it updated the colored screen art properly and continued to function correctly,- but only on that one station and my computer was turned off! I let if run for about an hour. Then, I tried several of my other presets and it defaulted back to its black and white art. Then, the Fox Station Art went back to the black and white again! I would like to know if there is any way to roll back the latest software update, or if you are simply stuck with the update once its installed! By the way, I dont like being called a Junior Member when Im 66 Years old and a Serious Techie and Wizard.
