I'm sure I've read of others using it in the bathroom just fine before. The designers would never give an official recommendation because it wasn't designed -specifically- for that use and only basic environmental testing was carried out (if any). However, I think some unofficial comments have stated that it should preform just fine and be just as good as other regular speakers in the same area if not better.
