Thank you peterw! Your method worked perfectly!

Here's the "recipe" I used to operate the SBR from a laptop connected
wirelessly to the internet:

Connect laptop to hotel wireless, achieve internet access for laptop.

"Use an ethernet cable to connect Radio to laptop, and enable Internet
connection sharing on the laptop." -- peterw
1) Search "internet connection sharing" (ICS) on Windows Help
2) Open "Network Connections" in Control Panel
a) Right click "wireless network connection", select "Properties"
b) Click Sharing tab, then select "Allow other network users to connect
through this computer’s Internet connection".

Connection configuration:
--------------------
Radio ---ethernet---> Laptop ~~~wireless~~~> hotel WiFi
--------------------

You'll need to leave your laptop running, but this should work.
You should be able to use any old Ethernet cable, as both Radio and
your laptop should have "auto-sensing" ports.

On SBR:
Select Settings, Advanced, Networking, Choose Network, Connect to
ethernet network

At least in my case, SBR connected and operated normally.
