AAC is not natively supported by the older players (SB1/2/3, Boom, Duet) so having AAC streams on MySB was pointless. SBS was always needed to transcode such AAC streams. Only in the last year, since your Radio was released, did SB have a player with native AAC support. The Alarm is a quirky feature that is known to be troublesome, particularly when using only MySB. Alarm use with SBS on your computer is much more stable. I know... I know... you bought the Radio in part to be used as an Alarm, it was marketed as such, you don't want to run your computer 24/7, etc.. etc... I'm just telling you the state of affairs as it stands with the Radio's quirky Alarm feature. Don't yell at me. :) There are TONS of Alarm issue posts in here with some possible fixes and workarounds. Enjoy the reading...... ;) -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81972 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
