50$ is bad enough for a battery, but about 7$ shipping on top... The remote is cute but no backlit buttons, Would like a battery but dont think the package has enough value added to be worth it. Sorry but I feel a bit screwed over *NOT* having the battery included, and being an extra cost option at such a heavily inflated price. What stopped them from using a one of the standard Li battery pack with a thermisistor on the pack or in the battery bay..
