Don't give up on the Radio yet - which BBC stations are you having a problem with? Is it only when you select them from the presets?
You can install a third party addition to the radio which will also give you access to listen again streams from the last week of the BBC. It also uses slightly different streams from the standard ones chosen by Logitech and these may work if the standard ones are not working for you.
