I had a problem setting favourites until I found the tip below from snowmanvtin another thread. "when you have a station you want to save in favorites listed on the screen, BUT NOT YET PLAYING, click on the "+" button. One of your choices will be "save to favorites". This works only if the station you want is not yet playing."
