Now I understand the "app" crase a little bit more. Every service provider -wants- to be an app on every product. With clear and visible branding etc . It ties nicely together with most service providers total branding strategy with websites and all. So radio aggregators and service providers is also driving in this make an app of everything trend. Not only consumers habitated by a certian kind's of phones . So I have to modify my initial opinion re apps (wtf apps on a squeezebox ?)
