Yeah, random here as well across all Bitrates except 128k. Sometimes I am offered results, sometimes the error. Any chance my bitrate limit set to 128k is confusing the "Choose Bitrate" option? It's kinda like the last few months of ShoutCast before the eviction from their servers. I would randomly get zero results within a Genre when I just selected a stream from that Genre 3 minutes ago, so it would say those 77 streams I was just offered within that Genre are now all gone 3 minutes later (zero results).
