Yes, I know that effect. Albeit not during normal playback, I can trigger it when I run a rescan of my library. At the end of the scan the radio stops playing, with the symptoms mentioned above (controls still functional etc.). I suppose it is some kind of timeout issue from which the radio does not recover properly.
