I know that generally a Touch, Transporter or SB2/3 is better for audio out quality. That being said I have two SB3s and one SB Radio.
When I first purchased the SB Radio I wanted to use it as it's designed. Since then my needs have changed and I wanted to know if anybody else has tried or had any success in modifying the audio out capabilities of the SB Radio. I once soldered in an op-amp and got COAX digital out on my Dish 3100 receiver, so I presume it wouldn't be a big stretch to do something similar with the SB Radio. I was thinking to either modify the headphone out or just simply add the coax connector on the back.
