I have a Squeezebox Radio, and it also likes to turn itself on a few times a day.
I leave it in the clock stand-by mode. It doesn't start playing anything, it turns itself on and to the station it was last on, but the music is stopped (with the stop icon in the corner). It might be a sync issue, but I dont have any SB software installed on my pc and it's the only SB radio I have.
