Well, I finally figured out what was happening. I have the powersave plugin installed, which was set to turn off my squeezebox radio 15 minutes after no activity. It was the culprit turning off the unit and thus alarm, or so it seems. I guess it didn't see a snooze cycle (me hitting the snooze) as activity. Disabling for this device seems to have fixed it, although likely I could just put its timeout at greater than my alarm timeout (e.g. 60 minutes).
