On the topic :) if it's stereo you want , to actually separate the speakers more than 10cm is a good idea , but then boom was more powerfull and had better xover and drive control and twice as much speakers and tone controlls , radio has no tone controlls and can't provide that much bass ,boom have a lot of " bass " on low/medium volume due to some digital trickery .
