My Squeezebox WiFi icon turned red two days ago and I was unable to get a signal. But after a few hours, it came back.
Yesterday evening, I noticed it was red and it stayed that way. I got up once or twice during the night, and noted that it was still red. It's still red this morning. My WiFi seems to be working fine (our laptop computers connect via WiFi). The diagnostic network test on the Squeezebox reports that the network is fine. The diagnostic displays of the network and the server all show nothing wrong. The signal strength shows 75% (+ or - 1% or 2 % variability over time). And the Squeezebox SUCCESSFULLY re-downloads / re-installs its software over the WiFi connection (I tried it)! I've power-cycled the Squeezebox several times. I've also done the same with the modem / router (cable connected using Comcast). Again, the other WiFi-connected devices all work, our Internet works, our VoIP phones work. But the Squeezebox WiFi icon stays red ... ... so I can't play any radio stations. What can I try next??
