Hi I have 2 SB Radios (and like 3 SB Touch I don't use anymore, now I have Spotify Connect in the living room). The radios are used in the kitchen and bedroom, for the time when they are turned off, for clock radio, internet radio and for spotify. We operate them both by the screens and buttons, and via android smartphones (especially since my GF don't feel a need for getting squeeze commander . But I'm in a real dilemma here.
I upgraded one of them to the UE smartradio software just to try it out and see what all the posts was about, and I actually kind of liked the simple software at first for my needs. For the first time in a loooooong while, there was finally a spotify logo in the start menu. But no flowers without thorns, the ue smartradio app for android, don't get the cover art, and it's kind of boring using an app without the nice album covers, but just big empty white spaces. But then again, it's a free app for my GFs android and tablet, that almost works. On the other hand, the original squeezebox software together with squeeze commander works, but no matter what I do on mysqueezebox.com the spotify app will not show up in the start menu. I have removed the app, restarted SB Radio, added the app, set it to activated, removed and added it to the startmenu. No matter what, no Spotify app shows up in the start menu.
