At a loss.
I've had my Logitech Radio for what seems like 10 years and I just had
to register to use this forum for the first time to see if anyone has a
clue as to what is going on.
In short, my Radio *seems* to be connected to mysqueezebox.com, but will
not play when I choose a station. I've tried many things, but to try and
simplify this I will start from a factory settings refresh.
When I refresh the settings, the radio reboots, I get the welcome chime,
"free your music", select English, connect to wireless network -> so far
so good.
[a bit of context]: In the process of troubleshooting this problem, I
created an addiitonal mysqueezebox account to see if my problems were
related to my old account (which I've been using forever). Turns out the
new account fixes nothing... so I want to keep using my original
account.
Therefore, after the wireless configuration, I select "I already have a
Squeezebox account" and enter the account I want to use. (I am also
logged into that same account in my browser, and since I deleted the
radio from that page during my previous tests, the web page currently
mentions that I "Don't seem to have registered players" on the Players
tab.
I enter my username + password and the Radio says that "This Squeezebox
has been successfully added to your account!" - and refreshing the web
page on mysqueezebox.com ("Player" tab), I can now see my Radio appear
in the list of players.
That's where things stop working.
I am now back at the Radio home menu, and try to go under Radio->Staff
Picks -> and hit Enter (the large button), I get a never-ending spinning
dot-in-a-circle animation.
Similarly, if I try to access My Favorites on the Radio, same thing ->
spinning dot.
In Advanced->Diagnostics->Network, everything comes back green.
On the mysqueezebox web page under "Player", my Radio shows "Connected",
however the Radio name on the website (I called it Chilltown) does not
match what the actual Radio is displaying (Squeezebox Radio).
Again under Advanced Settings-> networking, I can select "Connect to
mysqueezebox.com" and that does not work either.
Anyone have a clue of what might have recently changed on
mysqueezebox.com? My wireless setup has not changed, and FWIW my Radio
firmware version is 7.7.3r16676 (I should note that I also re-installed
the firmware directly from this Radio as part of my troubleshooting
exercises...).
