I followed the original instructions by using a new LMS v7 installation.
On the Radio go to Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer, install the Patch Installer. The Radio will re-boot. <---- no trouble Once it's back, go to Settings/Advanced/Patch Installer and ... the menu option just does a visual bump (nothing available) !!
