Hi All - Happy New Year
I try to keep my Squeeze Box UE Radio alive even if the WLAN is working not properly anymore since months, after about 10mins it just breaks. Ok I can live with Ethernet also so far. But what is really annoying to me is, that one of my favourite radio channel future generation 93.8 https://www.futuregeneration.net is not possible to play anymore on the box byself. I need to use LMS and the PlugIn ShareTunes2 to select an audio output of an iPhone/iMac to send the music from Safari/Chrome via AirPlay to the Squeeze Box. Ok I am happy that the PlugIn has been shared - thx for the open source dev.- but I basically have to use always a 2nd device. Minutes ago I tried to find a ssh syntax to start a stream via the Mac terminal and the jive.bin, but I couldn't figure out how to do it even if the SSH connections works fine and I'm logged in. WLAN Radios are not very popular (seems at least to me) and therefore I would like to keep the squeeze box alive. My question would be, is there any way to stream this https website which have no MP3 stream somehow linked? Is there any plugin for the Squeeze Box which could do the job?
