Paul, thanks for the further detail, but I am confused by this statement, did you mean to say "not"? To summarize my long winded explanation, the power line adaptors work best on two outlets on the same circuit (breaker), but also have a good chance of working if they are on different breakers, but the same leg. So if the breakers for each outlet are on the same side of the panel, it might work.
