Since there’s already an open PR on gd2-ffij (dark-panda/gd2-ffij#28), our
options are somewhat limited for now imo. I agree that opening a PR with a
workaround could help Apple Silicon users running the Docker setup. Thank you
for digging deeper into this.
Would it be possible to make this a platform-specific environment variable? Do
we know if setting GD2_LIBRARY_PATH like this might cause issues for users on
Linux or Windows? Ideally, we’d want a solution that doesn’t introduce
regressions for other environments.
