Anyone know of a solution for using (gasp!) non-numeric primary keys in
rails? I'm working with a legacy database so I can't add a surrogate
column. I'm also working with legacy rails...
> % gem list --local | egrep 'rails|activerecord'
> activerecord (1.15.3)
> rails (1.2.3)
I've googled around and grep'd my manuals - everyone says *not* to do
it, but I can't find out *how* to do it...
