Hey,

This is a quick post to indicate my interest in pursuing opportunities
for employment in the ruby/rails space.

In the interest of full disclosure I must state that I do not have
commercial experience with ruby or rails.

I have spent the last several years working with Java, Flex and
Groovy. I began playing around with rails a few months ago and created
a simple little car park finder to gain a bit of practical experience.
Rails is definitely cool but I was really blown away by the community
and innovation that surrounds it. Definitely a community that I would
like to be a part of.

I wanted to put some feelers out to see if anyone is interested in
taking on an experienced developer with limited ruby/rails experience.
I'm not really looking for training just an opportunity to be thrown
in the deep end so I can do what I do best... learn :)

Anyway I'll be at the this months Melbourne meetup if your interested
in having a chat, I've been to a few in the past so my face should be
somewhat familiar (my linked in profile has a photo for reference).
