Another firm with a strong commitment to RoR, that is growing quickly. Senior Developer - Melbourne Contract, up to $800 per day. 6 months. on site. High profile employer located close to CBD. looking for a degree qualified developer with 2 years commercial experience on ruby, RSpec, Cucumber. Will also look at those with extensive commercial experience in PHP or similar. Must also possess great communication skills, and be available to start within a month.
3 x junior - mid level developers - Sydney $30-$70 per hour, depending on experience. 6 month contracts. on site. This is for the software technology branch of a multi-national. They're looking for developers to start asap. As well as working with their existing team, you will get to exchange knowledge with their various ruby teams worldwide. The location may be an issue for some, as it is close to the Northern Beaches, and public transport is not great. (although it does exist) It's not possible to work remotely sorry. You'll be doing front end development, so you'll need at least some of the following: Experience in a commercial role with ruby - it would also help if you have a backgound in development with technologies such as PHP. Knowledge of MVC, Apache, jquery, selenium, cucumber, RSpec, JRuby and yahoo UI would help.
