Hey Steve;

I was a little disappointed from that perspective too. I was led to
believe it'd be geekier too.

I think the general consensus from replies on and off list is that:

* sponsorship is fine in general; providing
* sponsors need to have, and display, some technical angle

As someone said to me earlier today "I go to conferences expecting a
sell, I go to roro syd expecting geekery" ... or something like that.
