Michael, If you're after an easy, drop-in way to help you manage your static content, you could try High Voltage (https://github.com/thoughtbot/high_voltage, via @IvanVanderbyl). We use it to manage the static content on https://www.climateclubs.org.au/, although we do intend to integrate Refinery shortly so that the non-techs can add their own content.
