For context: Adam was a Sydney RORO regular who worked with Ruby and Ruby
on Rails at a number of places around town. He apparently had mental health
issues, and met a tragic end in horrible circumstances.

Emanuel, I'll send you my recollections separately, but it is worth
recording here that I found Adam to be friendly, generous with his time,
charitable and enthusiastic about technology. I was incredibly sad to hear
the news, and come across from time to time some Rails bugs he raised that
are still open issues, always a sobering discovery.
