Pricing depends a lot on the scale that you're talking. EngineYard gets
cheaper than Heroku as you need more CPU/memory. EY is fairly on par with
EC2 in this regard but won't give you as much flexibility (often a good
thing for easiness!).

My advice: if its fairly small go for Heroku. Otherwise EngineYard. EC2 on
its own is great but a lot more effort.
