Hi fellow Rubyists, The company I work for (Melbourne CBD based) is moving to Ruby on Rails for a new project after having been on .NET for many, many years. They are looking for a new person to come on full time who has experience with .NET and Ruby/Rails. This would be working on a new Rails project but would also involve working with ASP.NET/MS SQL applications as well.
Obviously this is not your standard Rails job as there would be involvement in the Microsoft platform as well, but I think it would be a great job for someone who has been in the Microsoft space and is looking to break into the Rails and Ruby arena, which is the case for me! We are implementing TDD for the Rails project using Rspec/Capybara so any use or just an understanding of those tools would be a plus.
