You don’t need to be a startup to work from the space, even though most residents (but certainly not all) are involved in the startup sphere to some extent. There will be payment involved (beyond the first day to trial the space) - things aren’t quite as generous as they once were (after all, i9 have to pay the rent and such) - but certainly I’d recommend coming by and trying it out. Daily and weekly passes are available for short-term stays, and then there are part-time/full-time month-by-month options as well. If the vibe isn’t what you’re after, that’s cool, there are other coworking spots to try (TeamSquare, Hub Melbourne, Electron Workshop and more).
