I've been looking for a good DNS provider (registrar & hosting) which would allow me to transfer existing .com.au's and work with Heroku apps. What are people using out there?
I've looked at - DNS Made Easy - domainregistration - netregistry - Godaddy - Cloudflare - Netlogistics - iinet - dnsimple - mamothVPS - enetica - MelbourneIT dnsimple looks really good, the only thing which stopped me from swapping to them was they don't transfer .com.au's yet. I've got a few domains with crazydomains and they don't handle CNAME for zone apex's which is what Heroku apps need. I've tried iinet, MelbourneIT and I'm not happy with both of those services. People keep mentioning Cloudflare to me but best I can tell they are not a DNS registrar only DNS hosting. Another option is to use someone like Crazydomains just for the registrar and DNS Made Easy for the DNS hosting.
