My client is in the energy industry, One of their areas of expertise is in distributed energy, pioneering a wide range of new business models and Cloud based services in an emerging landscape and leading the transition of the industry to a cleaner, more resilient grid. With advanced analytics for utilities and control and storage enabled services for large industry and residential customers, they are building the platform that will reshape the energy grid over the coming decades. Their mission is to optimise electricity grids to enable over 80% renewables.
To facilitate growth, they are looking for several senior developers. The tech stack right now is Ruby, MySQL, and Angular 1. There's a bit of Java for embedded work, and a new product offering is being written in Go. They're after full-stack devs who love what they do, and enjoy working with a high-performing team. This is a Melbourne-based company located in the CBD, and the role will be on-site. Though remote work isn't standard, they offer flexible working hours. Pay is up to about $130,000 + super.
