Is there a reason scriptaculous provides what appears to be a redundant function? The reason I'm asking is that it only seems to be used twice throughout all of scriptaculous, and it doesn't appear to work properly (for some reason it's returning the actual element, rather than an array with all of the elements)
If there is no reason, I'll modify it to use document.getElementsByClassName
and submit a patch.
