No, that works, but if you look at the js source it's based on

In the middle of the page you'll read:

AJAX-controlled auto-completing text fields.
Type a name:
The text box after that should be a sort of autocompleting field. In IE
I see it opening a window just below the text field.
In FF I don't see anything. (just like my tests with the latest version
of scriptaculous, under symfony)
Looking at the source of the page I see that it's based upon Prototype
1.4.0_pre4
So it looks like somewhere after version 1.3 something was broken with
compatibility with FF
