Well, then you might try wrapping the entire table in a div, and applying the effect to that...

As per Michael Peters, use DIV's. I probably would've had I not had a lot of tabular data like this. I have the luxury of not having to worry about IE at all; it's a private site for me and my friends and we all use FF. As long as it works there, I don't care ;)
