One nice addition in Rake 0.8 is better reporting for circular dependency errors.
Unfortunately, it only works for prerequisites. We have a lot of cases where one task invokes another, either using these tasks as post-requisites, or when the task body is the logic deciding which tasks to execute. When circular dependencies happen, they're still reported as sleeping threads.
