In 1966 he was invited to attend the start of Royal Rangers in Austrialia that was "set up" to include the seperation of boys and girls in units with oversight by Adult Leadership. Did he buck then? US Royal Rangers then began the Buckaroo program and crossed the gender barrior first, by welcomeing Women as "Adult Leaders" of boys.. There's something queer about writeing a policy to restrict the involvement of Female Adult's in Leadership, Training and Service to the Lord. This "strange Man-Centered" view is not for "child protection" or for Biblical reasons. Boy Scouts had at one time thought this way, then found that it was a non-issue.
